"Jio music" songs downloaded not playing after Oreo update

Hi,

Had downloaded a bunch of songs on Jio music while on Nougat. After the recent Oreo official update the downloaded songs do not play at all. It just keeps showing the loading icon. Also tried deleting the song and downloading again but of no use.It downloads successfully but doesn't play.
This issue doesn't occur on my "oneplus one" running cyanogen mod ‍.
In a dilemma whether it is related to Oreo update or the Jio music app
Anyone else facing the same issue?

Please help.
